Come celebrate the launch of HPL’s West Michigan Voices: Zine Collection!
This is Michigan’s fist community-based zine collection, where all zines have been submitted by adults 18 and older living in the West Michigan area.
Drop in anytime during open hours on Friday, October 7 (9-5pm), and take a peek at the very first zines in our collection.
There will be information on how to get involved with the collection, plus we’ll have some giveaways and light refreshments, as supplies last. Free.
What’s a zine, you ask? Zines can be almost anything! They are typically homemade booklets (copy/printer paper folded and stapled), and can include stories, artwork, poetry, photography, family history/recipes, etc. Free to enjoy!
