After graduating from the Marseille Conservatory of Music and equipped with advanced degrees in classical music, jazz studies, and composition, Labro began sweeping international awards before landing in the United States. His collaborations include Grammy-winners Jason Vieasux and Casandra Wilson, the Spektral Quartet, Hot Club of Detroit, James Carter, Larry Coryell, Frank Vignola, Tommy Emmanuel, and John and Bucky Pizzarelli to name a few. He has appeared as a guest artist with the Detroit Symphony, Cape Cod Symphony, Cleveland Pops, Lebanese Philharmonic, Qatar Philharmonic, Grand Rapids Symphony, and many more. Julien is one of the foremost accordion players in both the jazz and classical genres. His energy, fire and virtuosity take the instrument to places that surprises and stuns audiences. Music does not get much more exciting – or jaw dropping. You can’t describe Julien Labro, so don’t miss out on this rare West Michigan appearance. www.julienlabro.com
