In honor of AH FEST 2016 and all things Dennis Lehane, please read a Dennis Lehane book in September and/or October, then, come out to hear and meet the author on Oct. 27. Dennis Lehane books are available at Barnes and Noble.
Films based on Dennis Lehane novels will be shown at the Muskegon Museum of Art on Wednesdays in October. All the films are free and open to the public. Each will be followed with a brief discussion.
All films will be shown at the Muskegon Museum of Art, where there will be a cash bar for beer and wine, along with free popcorn. All films begin at 6 p.m. Please do not be late. The doors will be closed very close to 6 p.m.
American crime drama film directed by Michaël R. Roskam, from a screenplay written by Dennis Lehane. The film is based on Lehane’s 2009 short story “Animal Rescue.” Lehane also adapted the script into a 2014 novel of the same name. The film stars Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace and James Gandolfini in his final role.
