Write for Fright - Adult Writing Contest @ Hackley Public Library

Participate in Hackley Library’s Write for Fright and let us hear your spookiest short story!
The deadline for submitting a short story is October 25. Story submissions can be sent to askus@hackleylibrary.org, with ‘Write for Fright’ and your name in the subject line. The winning story will be announced and read on the HPL Facebook page on October 30th. Stories should be 2500 words or fewer. Only one story per applicant. Call 231-722-8000 with questions! Ages 16+. Great Lakes Ghost Hunters of Michigan will present findings from their 2021 investigation at Hackley Public Library and Torrent House!

Team members will show and explain the technology they used during their visit, show video footage of their investigation, and then set aside some time at the end to answer any questions.
